1. ThemeForest

Useful Tools & Resources for Website Owners

Themeforest is the first choice of website owners and web developers for WordPress themes, as everyone wants a good looking premium website with all the necessary features. Free WordPress themes do not offer all these things.

So what are your options – You have two options. First, use a free theme, and hire a developer to customize it according to your requirements, which will cost you around $200.

Second, go to ThemeForest, and select a premium theme that has all the features you want for your blog or website, and it will cost you around $59 (one-time purchase).

Themeforest has thousands of WordPress themes and provides a live demo for each theme so that you can find out its features and functionality before purchase.

All themes come with hundreds of demos websites that are ready to use with a single-click import. After purchasing a theme, you can import any of these websites with a single click, and your website is ready to go.

If you are not on a tight budget, consider buying a premium theme. Free themes are poorly coded and not updated regularly, while the premium theme offers premium features, better security, clean coding, and regular updates.

I personally use ThemeForest for all my websites, and I always get the features I want in my theme. Its one-time purchase cost is around $ 59 that includes one year of theme support from its developer. This is a one-time investment that I think is perfectly reasonable to create a beautiful blog or website.

3. Google Docs

useful tool Google Docs

Google Docs is my favorite place for writing blog articles. Here, you can do everything, whatever you can do with MS Office Word.

The main advantage of using Google Docs is that you can access, create, and edit your documents anywhere, anytime from your phone, tablet, or computer — even when there’s no internet connection. It automatically saves your documents and lets you share with other people.

Google Docs comes with smart editing and styling tools to help you easily format text, headings, and paragraphs. Choose from hundreds of fonts, add links, images, and drawings. All for free.

4. Grammarly

Google search engine preferred grammatically correct content over grammatically wrong content.

Basically, a well written grammatically correct content improves your website SEO, which helps your site rank higher in search results and also leaves a good impression on your website readers.

Every website owner must use a grammar and spelling checker tool. I preferred  Grammarly because it’s doing beyond grammar and spelling checks. It corrects your grammar, punctuation, and style, and offers you accurate, context-specific suggestions.

It’s completely free and works well with Gmail, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Docs, MS Office, and all your other favorite sites. For online grammar correction, you can install Grammarly’s Chrome extension.

5. MaxCDN (StackPath)

 Useful Tools MaxCDNStackPath

When I launched my first website back in 2012, I chose shared hosting to host my website. I took a 3 years Plan, and everything was going smoothly up to 2nd year. But in 3rd year, I started getting a good amount of traffic, which was why my website got very slow and sometimes even it went down. I spoke to my shared hosting provider, and they suggested me to upgrade the plan as my traffic was increased.

That time I didn’t want to switch to VPS hosting because it was very costly and I already had one year plan left. So I decided to go with MaxCDN, I purchased their starter plan and configured it with the WordPress website. The result was quite surprising. My website became super fast and worked well even during peak traffic hours.

MaxCDN cached my entire website on their global servers, and each time a user visited my website, they served him a cached copy of my website from their server, which was closest to the visitor. In this way, they maintain a lightning-fast speed without putting pressure on the hosting provider.

MaxCDN has now become StackPath with 36 more global servers, better security, and much more. If your website has become slow, you can try their basic plan CDN that starts at $10/month and comes with a 1TB bandwidth, Free SSL certificate, and DDOS protection.
