How To Point Your Domain To SiteGround Hosting

If your domain name is not registered with your hosting provider like mine registered with Godaddy, then you need to replace your domain Name DNS with your hosting’s DNS (SiteGround or any). This is necessary to make your site work.

Note: If your hosting provider and domain registrar is the same, you don’t need to change your DNS.

1. Login to SiteGround hosting, and you will get a home screen like this:

Now Click on Websites

2. The Websites section will get opened. Click on three vertical dots () next to the WORDPRESS KIT under the Website Details.

Now Copy the DNS servers under the field NS1 and NS2. These are the SiteGround hosting DNS.

Now you need to replace your domain name DNS with your Hosting DNS to make your site work.

For example, my domain registrar is Godaddy, and I purchased the hosting from SiteGround. So, I need to replace my Godaddy DNS (domain name DNS) with my SiteGround DNS (hosting DNS).
